Industrial water chiller
In the end of 2007 a new Dutch relation, active in the brewers' world, commissioned Comron International to deliver an overhauled industrial water/glycol installation running on ammonia/NH3. The capacity of this installation is approx. 800 kW at -1°C water/glycol outlet. The installation was engineered by Comron's own staff and consists of one Grasso Duo screw unit (built in 2000), one Güntner (APL Hopfgarten) shell & tube flooded evaporator with separator (of 1992), high pressure vessel and a new control-/switch-board built by Comron (obviously with used parts). All parts of the installation are completely overhauled and cleaned in accordance with the wishes of the client. The Grasso screw was overhauled by Grasso, with one year guarantee. The decision whether an installation is to be cleaned or not is usually up to the customer, but of course Comron plays an important part with a consultative voice. In general this means that we can give a solid advice based on the running hours and/or the service history of the equipment.
